Why are Bookmark People So Cool?

To dispel any confusion here, I'm not talking about people who USE bookmarks. Though, being among those people, I think that we are also cool.

What I'm talking about is my new, bookmark versions of Will and Jen, the main characters in Gemini Divided. Since I'm not an artist myself, and no one has yet approached me about making the book into a movie (though it would make a GREAT one!), this was one of the few ways I could think of to bring the characters to life.

One copy of the book called Gemini Divided beside two bookmarks shaped like the main characters, Jen and Will. Jen is in a button down short sleeved blouse and a skirt, and Will is in jeans and a t-shirt.

I'd seen the artist (@StephsBookTherapy on Etsy and Instagram)'s work on Instagram, so I was very excited to be able to order my own. After a little discussion with her, and then a little time for her to work her magic, VOILA! Jen and Will popped into my inbox, and soon after that, my mailbox.

Would I love for them to have faces? Yes. But that's not something this artist feels confident doing, so I'll settle for imagining the faces of actors who've played these characters in my head since the beginning. (For anyone who's wondering, that would be Chris Gorham and Ashley Johnson from my two favorite no-longer-running TV shows, Covert Affairs and Blindspot)

Now that they've popped into "real life," I'm wondering what shenanigans I can have Will and Jen get up to. If you remember my fun with The Walking Dead Pop Vinyls a couple years ago, you know I really enjoy that kind of thing. If you don't know what I'm talking about, check out @twdpopadventures on Instagram. My posts stopped around the same time I stopped watching the show, but they're still there.

And now, back to editing I go, because it's not yet 6am as I write this, and the rest of my family is sleeping, which makes it my writing time. I'm still hard at work on Book 2, and there's still a lot to do.
